  2. How do I participate?

Submit your idea to the www.Dewmocracy.com website using the upload tools provided. All submissions must be made beginning at 3:00:01 p.m. ET on September 17, 2008 and ending at 2:59:59 p.m. ET on October 14, 2008 ("Submission Period").

  3. What can I win?

Two runner-up prize winners will receive a year’s supply of Mountain Dew in the form of 52 coupons, each redeemable for one (1) free 12 pack of any trademark Mountain Dew products.

  4. How will the winner be determined?

After the conclusion of the submission period, all submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will pick the best idea. The judges will base their decision on the criteria of originality, creativity and relevancy to the Mountain Dew brand.

  5. Where does this kick-off event take place?

The event can happen anywhere within the contiguous forty eight (48) continental United States. Ideal places might be those that have a connection to the DEWmocracy program or the Mountain Dew Voltage product itself. Locations with a large population, such as cities, are also good choices.

  6. Does the event have to take place on December 29, 2008?

No, the actual kick off event does not have to occur on December 29, 2008. However, the event must occur within the months of December 2008 or January 2009, which is the general time period that Mountain Dew Voltage first launches in the market.

  7. Can I include celebrities?

Yes, celebrities can be included in your kick off event idea. If the winning idea involves a certain celebrity or celebrities, Mountain Dew will do its best to contact the celebrity/celebrities and invite him/her to attend the event. However, it is possible that the desired celebrity/celebrities wouldn’t be able to attend for reasons beyond DEW’s control. DEW cannot guarantee the attendance of any celebrities.
